The 2024 World Henan Entrepreneurs Convention kicked off at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, in Zhengzhou, central China’s Henan province on Wednesday morning.

The convention this year facilitated project signings spanning advanced manufacturing, strategic emerging industries, future-oriented industries, and modern services.

Over the years, the convention has evolved into a crucial platform for entrepreneurs, within and outside of Henan province, to invest in Henan. It also stands as a beacon for investment promotion in Henan.

Over the past five years, 470 enterprises founded by Henan entrepreneurs outside the province have cumulatively invested 406.5 billion yuan (about $56.2 billion) in a total of 493 projects back in Henan. This has significantly fueled the economic and social development of Henan.

“Thailand and Henan have ushered in broader cooperation prospects in the construction of twin parks, modern agriculture, advanced manufacturing, cross-border e-commerce, new energy and other fields,” said Narongsak Putthapornmongkol, chairman of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce. 

He expressed the wish to utilize platforms including the World Henan Entrepreneurs Convention to promote Chinese entrepreneurs worldwide to seize new opportunities in China and actively participate in Henan's construction.
