Recently, the New Zealand Division of the Sixth Belt and Road Initiative Short Video Competition was officially launched.
Driven by the Belt and Road Initiative, China and New Zealand have deepened their cooperation in infrastructure development, cultural exchanges, and mutual connectivity. This year marks the 52nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and New Zealand. The competition aims to strengthen the bond between the two nations through engaging short videos.
The competition, themed “Embarking on a New Journey,” welcomes the participation by witnesses, constructors, and narrators of the Belt and Road cooperation projects between China and New Zealand.
Through short videos, participants are encouraged to share stories of the long-standing friendship and collaborative achievements between the two countries. The event aims to further promote cultural exchange and economic cooperation between China and New Zealand.
The event is sponsored by the China Public Diplomacy Association, supported by the News Center of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Auckland, with media support from Global Times Online.
