The winners of the “China-New Zealand: Embarking on a New Journey” Video Competition and the New Zealand Division of the Sixth Belt and Road Initiative Short Video Competition were announced recently.

A total of 9 entries received the Stories in Light and Shadow Award, Bridge of Friendship Award, and Green Innovation Award. Among them, 3 entries won the Overseas Competition Awards of the Sixth Belt and Road Initiative Short Video Competition.

The event was sponsored by the China Public Diplomacy Association, and supported by News Center of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Auckland. Global Times Online served as supporting media.

Since its inception, the competition has attracted widespread attention both domestically and internationally. Each remarkable short video submitted has documented the rich cooperation achievements between China and New Zealand in economic cooperation, cultural exchanges, and other areas under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

Besides, these works vividly illustrated the changes and opportunities the BRI has brought to people, highlighting the growth of China-New Zealand relations in various fields. They have also ignited people's pursuit of peaceful development and fostered a tighter people-to-people bond.
